my mother was proof reading a cover letter and she started laughing because I used to word “straight away” and she said that it sounded country bopkinish, and asked me what it was, if it was a slang word. Is “straight away” really an uncomon slang word? as in “I could move to allegan straight away”.

Ive just decided that im going to mass apply for jobs again and ive forgotten how aweful it was! all of the bullshit that you have to make up and pretend that you care about. Its exhausting! ugh, andinterviews are even worse.
but hopefully I get get a new job soon and move into a new place. My goals are to apply for at least 5 jobs a week, move into my own place again in 3-4 months, and find some...
